You decide to invoke the power of music and dance to make your way through these faerie folk.
You can almost hear your father’s awesome necromancer rock band guiding your moves. This, of course, is just your imagination. Such a silly boy.

You decide your best course of action would be follow the path and see where it leads. You proceed with caution, as you still aren’t convinced that this faerie is the most trustworthy of sorts.
Further up the path, you see more faeries begin to blink and float into view.
⇒ [ Break into some sweet dance moves…]
Sure enough, you open your artistically crafted map too see that this path is uncharted. It’s possible you just over looked it last time you paid this place a visit. Everyone makes mistakes once and a while.
⇒ [ Follow the path with caution ]
You turn to look where the faerie is pointing— making sure to keep an eye on her while you do. It’s best to keep on your toes just in case she is planning a trick on you. No faerie can outsmart this clever adventurer.
In the distance, you are able to see a new pathway. You don’t remember seeing this particular trail on your previous journeys into the forest. What mysteries could it hold?
⇒ [ Open Map]
You ask the faerie if it has any magical powers.
The little creature giggles again, as it thinks this is a silly question. All Fae people have magical properties, you silly baby human. The faerie does not speak this aloud though.
Instead, she points into the distance.

After tossing the thought around, you come to decide that it would be a very bad idea to feed the faerie to Sir Roderick. It could make him sick, or worse.
Perhaps the faerie possesses magical properties that it could share with you? You might miss out if you sacrifice the poor thing to the bat.
You figure it best to find out if it has such magical properties. After holding your hand out, the faerie gently lands in your palm.

You have the brilliant idea of introducing Sir Roderick Bat to the Faerie. They could be best friends— well, second best friends. You’re Sir Roderick’s FIRST best friend, and no one could ever top that. You remember that Sir Roderick has not been trained and may fly away if you let him out though.
This sparks another idea— what if you were to kill the poor creature and sacrifice it’s body to Roderick for his next meal? Surely Sir Roderick would be pleased to be presented with this golden snack.
Should you catch the faerie and feed it to Sir Roderick?

It looks like a mischievous little fellow, so you’d better be careful. In fact, you believe it best to check your inventory. To refresh your memory, you open up it up to reveal your lovely stock pile of items. Maybe one of them is useful in this situation?
=> [ An Idea Strikes… ]
You decide the next best course of action is to introduce yourself as Wirt—- the greatest and most powerful necromancer in the land, of course— or well, you will be. You mention that you think your father is the most powerful, but you’re soon to follow in his footsteps.
The faerie says nothing, and giggles while darting about happily.
=> [ Open Inventory ]
You quickly decide to approach the light that flickers in the distance.
It appears to be a faerie of some sort…
You recall hearing stories of them from the other children in town, but you’d never given it much thought considering they’re all a bunch of lying losers. You’ve found a real faerie.
